643 A Project Space is pleased to announce an exhibition of recent paintings by Kerry Kugelman. These recent works on paper and canvas explore themes of change and dissolution within a limited, even austere color palette. Stripping away the incendiary colors more often associated with his painting, Kugelman utilizes minimal materials and chroma that suggest nocturnal transformations and change. Events of both microcosmic and cosmic origin are suggested by the enigmatic and evocative qualities of each painting. We hope you can stop by to view the exhibition.
The gallery will be open for three receptions in total:
• Friday, May 3, 5-8 pm
• Sunday, May 5, 1-4 pm ~Artist talk at 2:30
• Sunday, May 26, 1-4 pm ~ Artist talk at 2:30
